This New Year, I had the joy of spending time with my sister’s husband’s family in Texas. Being surrounded by loved ones, sharing stories, and creating memories reminded me of how precious these moments are.

Texas holds a special place in my heart—I lived here for 8 years, and every time I come back, it feels like home. I love seeing my sister, my nephew, and reconnecting with friends from when I lived here. There’s a certain warmth in revisiting places that shaped who you are.

As we step into a new year, I find myself reflecting deeply on the importance of family and the value of always striving to be better. For me, each year should be an improvement on the last. If it’s not, maybe it’s time to reassess. Growth doesn’t come without effort, and setting meaningful goals is key.
