^{The light of dawn is created with watercolor wet-in-wet.
Das Licht der Morgendämmerung wird mit Aquarell nass-in-nass gemalt.}
 

^{We also use the sky color as an underpainting for the foreground snow.
Die Himmelsfarbe dient auch als Untermalung für den Schnee in Vordergrund.}
 

^{A bunch of trees are sketched in and the darknesses marked with watercolor pencil.
Wir skizzieren ein paar Bäume und markieren die Dunkelheiten mit Aquarellbuntstiften.}
 

^{The watercolor pencil marks are activated with water.

^{Lavender tinted white gouache is slapped on to get some snow on the trees.
