“Come On Come Over!” This is Santa’s favorite holiday classic. It’s by Jaco the elf and it featured in this video.

“Come On Come Over”, like the previous post, but this is 10 days later and Rudolph is here with his nose so bright to guide our groovy music attempt this night.

My costume is very appropriate. I had a feeling these posts would be stretched out into December. I’ve been going at it, almost one a day for the last few months.
Not a repost! It’s October 31st 2025 in the vid and this is Part 2. Take a look at the previous day’s post to see the previous performance. This will be the last comparison opportunity. The remaining songs at this Halloween concert were newish songs and first-time performances. We rehearsed them a few times, but we could've used more repetition, more again, a few times or so, but not too too much, just a few more times a lot, all the way without stopping a few many time or sum’n…

I think I did better on this second performance. My fingers don’t look like they are struggling. I didn’t get lost. At some point I told myself to ignore the written/recorded part and improvise using my memory and try to “exaggerate” the bass riff like Jaco might.

Basically, stop jumping over strings and do more chromatic lines. It’s been difficult for me to jump strings on this bass. I could feel it, and I had the notion. “Like swimming with pants on.” Thanks to the videos, I can see it and enjoy today confirmation.
