Hello friends of Hive!
In these days of celebration we visited the bees because this is a very particular and intense period, in which the controls are more and more frequent to prevent and avoid the swarming of bee families, but also to help them in the expansion for the production of seasonal honey.
As you can see the bees are in great development and in apiaries there is a big movement, this photo dates back to a few weeks ago.
In these days the situation is totally different, the bees are in ferment and there are many, but above all we have put many melari for the production of honey.
And what is this? You must be wondering! This is a natural honeycomb built by bees. This happens when the family is very expanded and has no more room to build and the queen has no more space to hatch and therefore they create it themselves.
This totally natural and organic wax, is recovered by beekeepers and is used to make other wax sheets to put inside the nest, to help the expansion of the family.
To the next post friends of Hive!
