In this interesting post dayanart shares with us her own version the Girl with a Pearl Earring by Johannes Vermeer. “Today I made it my own with a different message and took the opportunity to start with the oil on canvas technique. I enjoyed it very much, it is very different from working with acrylics. Although I used the same modus operandi, it feels more slippery to the touch and dries much slower, I like that because it gives me the possibility to recreate myself more and do the blending easily” the artist said.
