Yeah, I actually love LJS. I don't get it that often because it is so greasy, but it is so good. I actually love their chicken fingers more than their fish. Occasionally my wife and I stop and buy a big tub of their coleslaw because it is very good there.

When I was a kid my mom would pick us up from school and take us out to lunch on our birthdays. I always went to LJS and i would order the biggest thing they had on the menu. While my memory is fuzzy I think it had two fillets of fish, 4 butterflied shrimp, some fried calimari, a couple of hush puppies, fries, and coleslaw. The fried batter scraps were something I feel the most memories towards. Oh that and the fact that without fail I would return to school and throw up around 2pm. I guess 10 year old's shouldn't have a pound and a half of grease for lunch.
Sounds like the Admiral's Feast to me! I agree though, that stuff is so tasty going down but it goes right through you even today. They still do the batter scraps though. I've actually seen people ask for extra batter scraps.
can i get some extra fried nothing please?
Haha, yeah. Their hush puppies are pretty dang good too though.
It's just fried bread isn't it?
Oh we don't have malt vinegar over here either so that is something that really takes away from the fish and chips experience for me.
Yes, just friend dough. So delicious though. Ah, malt vinegar really makes the difference for sure!
