The shipwrecks of hope - watercolours on paper

Hello everyone Hivers and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a watercolour landscape depicting a dramatic seascape. I wanted to depict a very rough sea merging with the sky, and the surreal aspect of the landscape highlights the sinking of many boats and the call for help for human lives.

As you will see from the steps I started without a preparatory drawing but with a very clear idea in my head, the inspiration came from the concept of shipwreck as a symbol of the failure of humanity without hope.

I naufragi della speranza - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido un paesaggio ad acquarello che rappresenta un paesaggio marino drammatico. Ho voluto rappresentare un mare molto agitato che si fonde con il cielo, e l'aspetto surreale del paesaggio mette in evidenza l'affondamento di molte barche e la richiesta di aiuto di vite umane.

Come vedrete dagli steps sono partito senza disegno preparatorio ma con una idea ben chiara nella mia testa, l'ispirazione l'ho colta nel concetto di naufragio come simbolo del fallimento dell'umanità senza più speranza.
