The force of the waves and the silent lighthouse - watercolors on paper

Hello everyone, dear Hivers friends, and welcome back to my blog. Today, I am finally back to share a watercolor painting that represents my passion: the rough sea. I imagined a seascape with a lighthouse on the cliff standing tall in all its tranquility, in stark contrast to the force of the waves below. I depicted a sky between leaden and clearing clouds and below it a sea of many colors, indigo for the parts in shadow, cerulean and green for the parts of the waves in light.

I deliberately left the paper white to show the foam and foamy crests of the waves.

La forza delle onde e il faro silenzioso - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi finalmente torno a condividere un dipinto ad acquarello che rappresenta la mia passione, il mare agitato. Ho immaginato un paesaggio marino con un faro sulla scogliera che svetta in tutta la sua tranquillità, in netto contrasto con l'impeto delle onde sottostanti. Ho raffigurato un cielo tra il plumbeo e lo schiarire delle nuvole e sotto di esso un mare da molti colori, indigo per le parti in ombra, ceruleo e verde per le parti delle onde in luce. Ho volutamente lasciato il chiaro del foglio per testimoniare la schiume e le creste spumose delle onde.
