The enchanted garden.

Hello everyone dear friends and welcome back to my blog.

Today I share with you a watercolor painting of mine that is located in a New York house to which I was very attached to the subject dealt with. The subject was inspired by the reading of a short story by Italo Calvino, Nobel Prize for Literature, entitled "the enchanted garden" of which I willingly share the short text. (take 5 minutes to read it is worth it).

Happiness does not live in wealth.

The garden is lush, but it forms a natural barrier to access the background view where the rich but sad child's villa should be. You can only see the stairs to access the park.

Reality is only on the surface while the dream and the imagination are behind the green barrier. To access the imagination we must find the way between the branches and brambles of our daily life and our rational stratifications.

Being rich is not enough to enjoy the wonders around you, you need to have someone to share them with.

Will we also come to friendship?

Il giardino incantato.

Ciao a tutti cari amici e ben tornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido con voi un mio dipinto ad acquarello che si trova in una casa newyorkese al quale ero molto legato per il tema trattato.

Il soggetto mi è stato ispirato dalla lettura di un breve racconto di Italo Calvino, premio nobel per la letteratura, dal titolo "il giardino incantato" di cui condivido volentieri il breve testo. (perdete 5 minuti per leggerlo ne vale la pena).

La felicità non vive nella ricchezza.

Il giardino è rigoglioso, ma forma una barriera naturale per accedere alla visione dello sfondo dove dovrebbe esserci la villa del ricco ma triste bambino.

Si possono intravedere solo le scale per accedere al parco. La realtà è solo in superficie mentre il sogno e l'immaginazione sono dietro la barriera verde. Per accedere all'immaginazione dobbiamo trovare la strada tra i rami e i rovi del nostro quotidiano e le nostre stratificazioni razionali.

Non basta essere ricchi per godere delle meraviglie che hai intorno, devi avere qualcuno con cui condividerle.

Arriveremo anche all'amicizia.
