The crosses of the sea

Hello everyone dear friends and welcome back to my blog. My painting today is a strong representation of a seascape. I didn't paint the classic seascape that is aesthetically beautiful or nostalgic, but I gave life to a landscape on the verge of abstraction and with the concept of death inherent within it.

I wanted to create a watercolor very full of color and emotional intensity, of lines of force and above all of scratches. A composition of scratchy lines and shapes that are enhanced by contrasting colors and crosses that emerge from the waves. Boats, trees, bowsprits, rocks, waves and crosses come together in an intrigue of forces and energies that culminate in the large yellow and red cloud on the right.

A storm of restless souls who are desperately trying to save themselves from the tragic end in the sea, the great container of the dead over the centuries.

Le croci del mare

Ciao a tutti cari amici e ben tornati sul mio blog. Il mio dipinto di oggi è una forte rappresentazione di un paesaggio marino. Non ho dipinto il classico paesaggio marino esteticamente bello o nostalgico, ma ho dato vita ad un paesaggio al limite dell'astrazione e con il concetto della morte insito dentro di lui.

Ho voluto realizzare un acquarello molto carico di colore e di intensità emotiva, di linee di forza e soprattutto di graffi.
Una composizione di linee e forme graffianti che vengono esaltate dai colori contrastanti e dalle croci che fuoriescono dai flutti. Barche, alberi, bompressi, scogli, onde e croci si fondono in un intrigo di forze ed energie che vedono il culmine nella grande nuvola gialla e rossa sulla destra.

Una tempesta di anime inquiete che cercano con disperazione di salvarsi dalla tragica fine nel mare, il grande contenitore di morti nei secoli.
