Storm direction - watercolor on paper

Today I return to share my passion, seascapes with sailboats. I have painted a watercolor depicting a sailboat holding its bow heading against the storm, a daring ordeal accentuated by the fact that at the stern (to the right of the viewer of the painting) it leaves good weather.

The boat has the mainsail, the center sail, lowered because of the strong wind and the gray storm foreboding.

I have tried to portray a metaphor for a dual state of mind we often incur during events in our lives, I hope I have portrayed it well.

Direzione tempesta - acquarello su carta

Oggi ritorno a condividere la mia passione, i paesaggi di mare con le barche a vela. Ho dipinto un acquarello che raffigura una barca a vela che tiene la prua in rotta contro la tempesta, una prova ardimentosa accentuata dal fatto che a poppa (a destra di chi guarda il quadro) essa lascia il bel tempo.

La barca ha la randa, la vela centrale, ammainata a causa del forte vento e del grigio presagio di tempesta.

Ho cercato di rappresentare una metafora di un doppio stato d'animo di cui spesso incorriamo durante gli eventi della nostra vita, spero di averlo raffigurato bene.

Un abbraccio senza tempeste.
