Lights and colours of the alley - watercolours on paper

Hello everyone Hivers and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a very colourful alley that has several compositional elements, such as a barrel full of plants, a bicycle, and two windows with many climbing plants on them.

I had fun painting strong coloured shadows of cerulean and purple within the composition, such as on the stones and the shadow of the bicycle wheel.

I painted coloured shadows to highlight the complementary lights, the yellow ochre and orange but especially the green that enhances all the red colours in the painting.

Luci e colori del vicolo - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido uno scorcio molto colorato che ha diversi elementi compositivi, come ad esempio una botte piena di piante, una bicicletta, e due finestre con sopra molte piante rampicanti. Mi sono divertito a dipingere all'interno della composizione delle forti ombre colorate di ceruleo e viola, come sulle pietre e l'ombra della ruota della bicicletta. Ho dipinto ombre colorate per mettere in evidenza le luci complementari, il giallo ocra e l'arancione ma soprattutto il verde che esalta tutti i colori rossi del dipinto.
