Ancient staircase - watercolors on paper

Hello all dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a large format watercolor depicting a glimpse of an old town with a typical staircase in the foreground. I thought of depicting all the characteristic elements that could enrich the scene, street lamps, flower pots, a central palm tree, gates, windows and two cats with a child. I played with the color of the cerulean blue and indigo sky to enhance the light color of the buildings. Scalinata antica - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido un grosso formato ad acquarello che rappresenta uno scorcio di un paese antico con una tipica scalinata in primo piano. Ho pensato di raffigurare tutti gli elementi caratteristici che possano arricchire la scena, lampioni, vasi fioriti, una palma centrale, portoni, finestre e due gatti con un bambino. Ho giocato con il colore del cielo blu ceruleo ed indigo per esaltare il chiaro degli edifici. Vi lascio tutti gli steps del processo creativo e vi mando i miei migliori saluti a tutti, Armando.
