A heritage to be admired along with the cats - watercolors on paper
Hello all dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing my latest watercolor painting which is somewhere between seascape and traditional landscape with houses. I definitely had fun improvising a beautiful scene with colorful houses, floral plants and the ever-present cats softening the landscape. I wanted to make a typical glimpse of the Amalfi coast (a world heritage site) where the colors and houses play the leading roles, careful observers of the sea below.

Un patrimonio da ammirare insieme ai gatti - acquarelli su carta
Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido il mio ultimo dipinto ad acquarello che è a metà strada tra il paesaggio marino e quello tradizionale con case. Mi sono decisamente divertito ad improvvisare una bella scena con case colorate, piante floreali e gli immancabili gatti che ingentiliscono il paesaggio. Ho voluto realizzare uno scorcio tipico della costiera amalfitana (patrimonio dell'umanità) dove i colori e le case fanno da protagonisti, attenti osservatori del mare sottostante.

This picture reminds me of a place I saw in a travel documentary somewhere — you've captured the colors of the houses and flowers so beautifully, I feel like I've been there myself. And it would have been a bit incomplete without the cats. I can't draw at all, so it was fun to see the step-by-step instructions. Thanks for sharing!

Looks very vivid and beautiful! Reminds me of the countryside home I used to visit near the sea, light building colors sometimes blend well with the color of the sea. Amazing work :)
