Wait. Do we need to use our debit cards to buy points?
I haven't found a way to do it otherwise! But believe me, I'm HAPPY to be proven wrong!
That would mean Non-US resident can't buy Ecency points.😢
Unless the payment portal accepts our debit cards or uses stripe

I only got them by earning, but I would use HBD/Hive to buy them if I wanted to. Not the app store.

There was a way to buy them using a transfer, but I can't remember the user to transfer HBD to and what memo to include. It's been too long to see it in the points tx history. It's no big deal, tbh, I can get em if I really need em.

So they had to take the function away in response to outcry about "vote buying". Sucks that a few butthurt people have to ruin an amazing function for a community, but they dealt with it the right way, I think.
Now I see that's the reason, I also agree with it... Considering the price of these points, it really counts at
votecuration buying, since these are manually curated, as far as I know, 1 out of 5 Boost attempts gets rejected.Posted via D.Buzz

I was using points for the draws I do at PYPT. Now I've switched the draws to HBI instead.
