I think it was in reference to someone taking the opensource code for the microblogging and making it their own brand. At that point they would have the ability to censor. I would like to see more of the conversation, and what people are thinking.

@jacuzzi was stating what was technically possible as a matter of fact, and not what anyone's plans were
I.e. Nothing is stopping someone from forking an open-source Hive frontend & censoring, but the failsafe would be that #Hive users would choose the uncensored one 😎✌️
