It is a hardened (made much more secure) Linux operating system that does not store anything on the computer's long-term storage (only in RAM) and always uses the Tor network to access the Internet. 🕵️‍♂️

You must install it in removable media (normally on a USB drive, but can be burned into a CD) and boot from there. It will not touch (read from or write to) your other attached storage drives (such as HDD, SSD, or other USB drives) to ensure maximum security. 🕵️‍♂️🤨
