Hope that the off-site recreation area is near your facility! Something like 10 minutes away when walking, and can be dome during breaks such as for lunch time. 🤔

I recommend daily recreational activities, not just those done during weekends. Nevertheless, it is not a requirement. 🤔
The thing that is lacking in me that makes me "American" still, is Bisaya & Tagalog.
I barely speak any of both, and doubt I ever will.
Local Filipinos are amazing at learning new languages, and some Westerners + other Foriegners are too.

If you have the time (and you will have the time if you want to, especially when you need to enjoy time off work), you might want to learn the Filipino language. Tagalog is the dialect that is the official national language of the Philippines.
