Welcome here to the community! My advice would be for you to at least try to stay connected to the community and to your readers. To my experience, inconsistency or absence for a long period of time will make you lose the organic following or the so-called "engagement".

Healthy engagement benefits both the community (platform) and bloggers as well. Try to interact as much as you could. It would be helpful for your growth as a blogger on a social blogging platform like Hive. You may also join communities to expand your horizon, or just blog as you want. The sky is the limit!
