I think one of the things that destroys trust the most is money. Sometimes it is necessary to lend money to our friends or borrow money from them and see what happens next.

In that regard, money is a great amplifier that shows us who someone really is.
The lack of money is (in my opinion) the root of a lot of evil. Not having it can drive some to acts of desperation.
