That is what was supposed to happen with Bitcoin "long ago," only that wasn't the case. Oddly enough, this role is being fulfilled by DOGE. As long as people use it in this way, the criticisms of this crypto don't mean a thing.
Posted via D.BuzzAt the rate it's going for currently, I think it will happen at some point... But I probably won't use #BTC itself, because the fees are too high for me. I'd stick to lower fees coins like #BCH and #HIVE, if businesses didn't support them, I don't see mass adoption in the future.
