No. π€¨ I tried accessing D.Buzz myself using Brave Browser with Shields down, and it still did not load before. π It appears to be fixed now in the latest update. π€
Yep. Currently, I think the HTTP thing I was looking at is actually okay - it's a CORS preflight and the associated actual API call executes properly. There was an error loading beacon.js from Cloudflare - which is a noted issue with default Brave settings. So, I dropped the shields to the most permissive possible and dumped the browser cache to force a reload ... and the same thing. Just a spinning loading icon with the same files loaded as before - except now the cloudflare beacon.min.js loads too. Console is empty.
I have the v3.14.0 version: hard reload, shields set to minimum, beacon file loads. Still the same spinning ball problem. Please don't let this problem distract you too much. If it becomes too much of a problem I'll trace through the Inspector and get you more information. For now, I can use alternative UIs on my desktop and d.buzz on my phone.
Ok, a few more data points from the same home network:
Computer A (Windows 10): Brave NO, Chrome and Edge load fine.
Computer B (Windows 10): Brave Yes (Version 1.24.86 Chromium: 90.0.4430.212 (Official Build) (64-bit), Edge Yes, Chrome not installed
The Brave versions are A/B: Version 1.24.85 Chromium: 90.0.4430.212 (Official Build) (64-bit) / Version 1.24.86 Chromium: 90.0.4430.212 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Only the Brave browser on Computer A has Hive keychain.
Second API call. No request payload so server returns "204 No Content". The "Response" tab has "Failed to load response data". The first API call has JSON-RPC in the request payload and the response tab has the JSON response. Here's the error.
Yes, I tried api.hive.blog and deathwing's api node on keychain. Still the same error. Unlikely it's a firewall since the first API call goes through fine and gets a valid response. The weird thing imo is the missing HTTP request body.
I do think that bug is some Brave Browser for desktop specific thing, not that of D.Buzz. π€π

Hmmm, yeah, the only thing is other people might be experiencing it too.

If you are using Hive Keychain, have you tried switch nodes?
Posted via D.Buzz
Yes. Same result.
Posted via D.Buzz
Which nodes did you try switching too?
And said it just worked . . could it be a firewall on your end?
