Go to the source of a field, instead of spending time with the echoes.
A useful question to ask to know which is which, is to say "who is your master" and then to that "master" you ask the same. Till you get to the source of a field of expertise.

Anyway, I like this... Especially since most of the experience gets diluted with time, and getting to the source will give you the pure form.
