Filipinos do love music, but people in other countries love music too.
By the way, I see that you are on your way to becoming a local Filipino.
P.S. I talked to the facility owner, and he said that we'll have recreation off-site, and there are good places to go here ππ

Hope that the off-site recreation area is near your facility! Something like 10 minutes away when walking, and can be dome during breaks such as for lunch time. π€

I recommend daily recreational activities, not just those done during weekends. Nevertheless, it is not a requirement. π€
The thing that is lacking in me that makes me "American" still, is Bisaya & Tagalog.
I barely speak any of both, and doubt I ever will.
Local Filipinos are amazing at learning new languages, and some Westerners + other Foriegners are too.

I can't determine why you haven't learned the Filipino language yet after years of staying in the country. How hard have you tried learning it?

If you have the time (and you will have the time if you want to, especially when you need to enjoy time off work), you might want to learn the Filipino language. Tagalog is the dialect that is the official national language of the Philippines.
