Hard to say. In general, there will always be a demand for private coins, and XMR is the most trusted.

THORChain and similar DEX projects integrating Monero should be the path for future. I have seen articles by @dalz and the DEX volume is catching upto CEX volume. We should not have to worry about exchanges like Binance. Cryptocurrency is supposed to be P2P.

Part of the difficulty is that Rust is unfamiliar territory for most programmers. I skipped through this because I hardly knew any programming to begin with. Here is a quote I heard about Rust:
I have tried some Haskell and I can clearly see many similarities of code. But Rust looks very verbose and I need to learn more things to get started. I have seen other experienced developers claim that it is faster to code in a language like Go compared to Rust.
Rust force programmers to write good code. If the code is not safe, it probably won't even compile. It is more work to get started, but better in the long run.

Yeah, this is from the delisting news. This is when the Monero community will start to shine as a true decentralized blockchain. There are different DEXs and atomic swaps that people can use. This is where we are going to see if people are really here for the mission or the profits.

Binance announced that they are delisting it. Monero doesn't need centralized exchanges anyway.
