RE: AI Poisoning used for the Greater Good: Protect the Artist

It is good to see some fight back from the Ai mimicry. I was chatting to the owner of a graphic design business over Christmas and they can't use the AI tools much because when they create work for their customers, they can't risk having copyright problems by using the AI tool, even though it can do some things faster.

Copyright infringement is a thing indeed. I doubt if this will be a thing in the future though. That is why I added the 'consideration' paragraph. Like patents, copyright laws may need to be dismissed. I know, I know, this isn't liked by many artists and content creators, but then again, we did without those laws for as long as humans existed, until we entered something called the industrial revolution.

For the short and perhaps midterm we may see AI used more or less casually, but not as the prime creator of content in the business sector, due to laws such as you refer to.

Yes, I am on the fence about them too. On the one hand for people to claim work not created by themselves is fraud. However, as we see in the music and art scene, many people can create and build upon what others have done and this is being hindered.

Overall society seems totally overburdened with "admin" and excessive laws and regulations. It is probably time to have a reset and clean the slate.

Remove patent and copyright laws and the world will already be much more efficient 🎉🥳 Not that all stakeholders will agree to such bin action 😆
