The bible is one book that I have tried to read thoroughly yet the more I tried, the more distractions will come my way and it made me not be consistent to finish reading within the specific time frame I have planned. So far, the parts that I have read are huge and at a time I couldn't believe I was able to read it all to that extent. At first when I started my plan of reading the bible, nothing was making sense to me. I couldn't even finish a chapter of any book of the bible. It was just not like an ordinary book to me because at one point it was very boring because I've read books and I've read novels and I know the difference. At one point my heart was filled with questions and occupied with side talks of other people's doubts concerning the bible.

It wasn't for long when I realized something different because I kept pushing on to know the truth and hidden mystery behind the bible. One day I came across a video of a great father of faith in Christianity who was sharing stories of how his acceptance of God's Word transformed his life, so I listened on till I heard him say that he could hardly read the bible when he started and there were many doubts that came to his mind when he started which made him struggle more and more to what's behind the words because of his desire. He said he struggled to read every little portion because of his lack of understanding and doubt but one day a spirit taught him to pray before reading, which was the starting point of his encounter. He started gaining understanding and even had to read the bible the more with growing desire.
I became grateful that youtube contained most of the videos we needed in life that could answer a question or two or even more. Many times I heard different fathers of faith in Christianity say if you read the bible as an ordinary book, it becomes an ordinary book to you and if you take it as the word of God that it is and read in in power, you start manifesting power. It then began to make sense to me that one could be so close to someone else yet be too far away because of the state of their mind towards the person and the way they relate which may or may not trigger the person to open up and say things about themselves.
It began to make sense that before one starts reading the bible that it's of great importance to pray and ask for the spirit of God to come and reveal the knowledge behind everything that he reads like. When I started applying this in my life it started working.
I know that there is a spirit backing up everything even if you want to recite some incantations from a magic book, the spirit or demon responsible for the task has to be present to carry out the assignment so it won't just be a mere utterance. Tonight as I'm relaxing and listening to this Christian song titled “the blessings” I know that I've always been a partaker of the blessings of God. Thinking about how I spent 362 days already in the year that will soon pass by to exist forever in history, I consider myself blessed. Indeed I feel blessed. Yes there were challenges, financial problems, health challenges and lots more but in the midst of all this problems, I lived to see the whole number of days in 2024 remaining just three days to pass by.
Yes I feel blessed.

Deep inside of me I feel there is a great need to start this new year in good spirit and start now to encourage and motivate one another to see how far we can go in dropping some of our old habits that might be hurting to oneself or to others in general. I've always heard people say things like New Year's resolutions which are good as a matter of fact.
Though some may try to enter the new year and avoid things which they've already been addicted to, many enter the new year not minding and keep up with their lifestyle even though it hurts them.
When one is addicted to something it takes a good level of conscious effort to help get off the shackles of addiction and even sometimes, spiritual interventions are very much required so that the spirit that has taken over will give way.
I pray that all will step into the light of next year and that next year will be wonderful and rewarding to every good individual.
