Did anyone miss some piano playing from this Hiver?

With all my rocks, and collections (hopefully I will post soon {tomorrow} a new topic for May) and walks and travels (oops, they also have a bit of backlog hahaha, but I will try to catch up on that topic too) I completely neglected recording some piano pieces... I guess I enjoy many different things and although music is my profession and passion and something I know I can do well, opening myself to other activities made me feel more active and happy after all.
Don't get me wrong - I am still very happy with my piano, and would never leave it behind. I do play it every single day: in lessons, rehearsals, performances or practising with my son accompanying him for the exams he will have in June... It is just that I haven't recorded anything with my piano at home for Hive for around four months (as the software for recording the audio informed me). I knew which piece it was, and also I went back to find it.

Piano playing is not a forgotten activity as I say, but it is interesting for me to see how we shape our activities, interests, inspirations and content - if we speak about content creation on this platform. Back in time, when I started I thought recording piano pieces was the only thing I could do. I knew nothing about blogging. I have never had any research, preparation or experience with it. Nada. But then you meet other people who help you with ideas, inspiration, and examples. You engage, make connections, learn; new ideas are born and the inspiration never stops. Ok, sometimes it takes a little break but seeing life through a creative prism, I mean in everything you do in life gives such a different feeling.
Like a flowing river, like water that you can't stop, energy and inspiration always stream. Do you want/can swim in that water or not, that is the only question. I guess it happened in a similar way that a few days ago this tune, Canon in D by Pachelbel swam to me, in the river of ideas. It asked me to record it for some birds on a wall that could maybe start singing after listening to it. We will see if Miss Destiny wanted this recording of a super famous melody that I don't think I have ever recorded in this arrangement but that I have played many times for solemn occasions (weddings π) to reach the recipient and make the 3D birds on the wall sing to the tune. π¦πΆπ€
backstage secrets - I made a recording of this Canon in D on Saturday but I didn't like it... the piano on the video looked crooked, and I had the feeling that I played it in a rush. ...and such a familiar sound it is ... the piano ... but also the piece you played ... had no clue this was Pachelbel. But then again, I have no clue about classical pieces whatsoever. Well, no clue is a big word. I know what I like when I hear it π
Am glad you found your way around HIVE doing things other than just the Piano. You found new things in your real life because of HIVE. The kindness rocks, rocks. The collector's corner also. Still didn't get myself the tools for my Rock adventures. But is on the to-do list, though not with the highest priority. As with my collections, I think I'll be a bit slow on the Rocks as well. But but but, am so looking forward to planting those rocks across the city and - hopefully - making some peeps happy with them.
It doesn't matter you didn't know it was Pachelbel. The important thing is that piano sounds arrived again at your speakers and hopefully, it means to your ears too :))
Yes, you have been with my Hive journey from the very beginning π and stayed with my piano playing, transformations, changes, ups and downs, topics, initiatives, ideas, vibes, neighbours, instrument shifts (haha, I have to get back to that one - I have a new instrument in my home π) writings (also, the story that started in Q and which had I think just two chapters is not finished, another backlog in that field), travels and everything behind the scenes. Rocks - the pro lady from the kindness rocks community sent me a link in a comment to what the varnish that we can apply on acrylic looks like. But first, you need the pebbles and the colours π and then making others happy in your city can start ;)))))
Yea, my ears did listen for sure! how could I not too? Otherwise, I had to have a big talk with my ears, but I didn't have to, they did what they needed to do π

I really liked that analogy you made with water, I think it makes a lot of sense and I also think that this evolution in the way of blogging describes very well the opportunities that HIVE gives us, spaces to create, share and above all to discover continuously.
Water - it somehow came as a good analogy indeed for Hive. We all have our own "river course" sometimes it flows faster and sometimes slower, but it is always here, present π

I have always wanted to learn to play the piano, but I have always thought that to dedicate yourself to something in life, you must have a lot of love for it. I have only wanted to learn because I think it is a beautiful instrument, but not to dedicate myself to play it forever because I sincerely love my sporting life and that's what I want to dedicate myself to until my body says βEnoughβ hahahaha.

I too at my early stage on hive though I could only post some of my Afro-music performances, but I gradually came to realize that the hive world is too broad, broad enough to accommodate what ever we have got. Relocating from Port Harcourt (a city in Nigeria) for about a year, I was unable to lay my hands on a keyboards for months; that forced me to explore other options. And here we are today, I have even turned a writer

As soon as I read Canon in the title, I stopped everything and started listening to you, one of my favorite pieces β€οΈ (and that I would like to play on violin when I learn to play it haha)

Listening to Canon always brings tears to my eyes, and this is especially beautiful because you played with your heart for some little birds, who I'm sure will start to sing when they hear it. β€οΈ
