WOW, this isn't just a toxic relationship your friend is in. When violence moves from words to becoming physical, so bad hospitals are needed, this is far beyond toxic. I don't know what the culture is where you and your friend live, but this would be an immediate 'end of relationship' thingy in my culture and country. For most people. Perhaps not for some, I don't know. I just know that quite a few peeps keep on going with their partner, when - usually the guy - is a narcissist with the ability to just give enough for the other to stick around. But when all becomes physical, one can not think this will turn for the better. Please please not only tell your friends to walk away, but help her to walk away 🙇
