Kaputt gave me so much trouble when I had to understand that gestorben means "[have] died" ... I was not expecting that! German, like ancient Greek, has so many specific words for things.
Dative and genitive cases are totally gone, because it has been 20 years since I seriously paid attention to the study of the language... not much chance to use it, other things came along that demanded my attention ... until Covid-19. But, once upon a time, I could actually think in German, and occasionally - when I am listening to German lieder, for example -- it comes back in big flashes. This is why doing the translation work is so interesting to me on such songs ... my limited vocabulary can reconnect to what I used to know and connect with things I never learned in university.
Indeed! Took me a while to realize Handarbeiten isn't what it's literally translated to be👀...
Woa! 20 years!!! That a lot!
Ah... I see. Back then, you must've gotten a pretty good grasp of the language if you we're already thinking in it by then.
Oh well, good luck again on your journey!
Thank you ... by the way, I have not forgotten your tip on getting further off into the NFT market ... waiting for gas fees to get to a reasonable point (which I realize may take a WHILE)...
Oh awesome! You remembered!
And i see... Sounds like a reasonable plan then. Although, just in case things go south, you could always try the polygon network - no gas fees⛽
You know, I completely forgot I can use Polygon now ... thank you very much ... danke SEHR...
Lol, yeah. Most people tend to lol. Auch keine sorge. Freut mich sehr😌
