Music is a generator of many sensations and emotions, it has a special magic and depending on the genre it can bring smiles or tears.
Music is like that, always present in every moment of life in every person, whatever the taste of each person.
The Malaga fair is celebrated every August every year remembering the return of the city to Spanish hands after being in the hands of the Arabs or Moors as they are called here.
The streets are filled with different sounds, music, bands, verdiales and people singing and dancing everywhere, but especially in the main or most famous street of Malaga, Calle Larios.
I attended again this year with my mother, I know it brings back fond memories of anecdotes her grandmother told her about different customs, ways of doing things, food, music.
A song can bring back many memories that unite a person with experiences or with a whole past, even if it is not our own, the past of our ancestors.
Music inspires that journey into the past and that is relived in the present, every time that music resonates somewhere.
There was a wide variety of music at the fair, but in general all of it aroused a lot of joy among those present, encouraging, who knew, to sing and dance.
Every corner of the street was full of life, festivity and joy. Colours, music, stalls selling various items related to the Spanish tradition, especially from the Andalusian community.
Each person was inspired by the music, and each one possibly by different things. In my case and in the case of my family, that tradition that my ancestors lived, although we younger people don't live it as much, but we can learn and get to know it.
Of course, every time I looked at my mother in the middle of filming or taking photographs, I saw tears of emotion and, on many occasions, smiles.
The first video with the first band surprised me, very pleasantly, it was the music that inspired me the most joy and happiness. It inspired high, exciting and truly festive vibes.
I loved to see people, in the corners of the streets, singing and dancing with guitars to the beat. I love to admire diverse cultures.
I always say flamenco is not my thing, but there are certain types of this genre that are a bit different from the general one and are very joyful. And seeing people happy is very contagious.
Another thing I really liked is the decorations and seeing some of the stalls with guitars hanging on them brought back memories of my childhood, where at my school there was a group of girls who played the Creole guitar, especially during festivities and I loved to listen to them.
Every decorated place invited to listen internally to music, which often, even if there is silence, internally if you dream. Any kind of music, but there it is present, inspiring every moment of our lives.
Another thing I loved to see was a couple dancing in the middle of the street, and around them people singing and clapping their hands. Everyone was crowding around the place, and they were right to see this spectacle.
There was nothing but smiles, joy, chatter, singing and dancing.
The Andalusian people are naturally cheerful, or at least that's what I've always seen since I arrived. It doesn't matter if there is a fair or not, they are like that. They speak loudly, but with a special tone that transmits very good energy.
There is a lot of warmth, empathy, kindness and solidarity, they are like that, and when there is a fair this is even more powerful thanks to the music.
The fair is always eagerly awaited in the city, people go out into the streets, celebrate every moment and live it intensely and I repeat, this is very contagious.
I filmed several parts and moments of this festival and it was beautiful to walk through the streets where not a pin could fit, full of people as you can see, with an explosion of life and colour.
Happy to bring you some music, magic in the air and lots of joy. Best wishes to all and see you next time.
Amonet.

It's a city that is constantly on the move, I'm going to check it out in a little while! Thank you!💗
I loved the video, full of joy and with people participating in the party and not just as spectators. You are right when you say that the music is loaded with memories, I understand your mother perfectly.
A big hello to both of you.
Lots of colour, I love that and the decorations, that's very cheerful! Very happy people, that's very good! Thank you very much!
Thanks to you for sharing that joy. have a great afternoon.

Malaga Fair is so popular, but we have never attended it - usually, we travel back to Spain on those days so we had enough driving hours haha. But somehow, we all visited it now, thanks to you. 👋 🎶
I haven't been there several times but when I have been there I've always been surprised by the new things that are always new and give me a lot of joy! It's a pleasure, I loved being there!💗
