Another week and another batch of writing to go through.
Well, I should say go through again 😄
First let me start by saying "Thank You" to everyone who took the time to write and engage! Without you the community is nothing so thanks so much.
I did enjoy all the articles and mostly figured out that:
- Jobs are tough to get and nearly impossible without connections
- Take what you can get even if it sucks and most employers are awful
- Being your own boss is. preferable if you can
- Degrees don't mean jobs
This weeks winners will go to @lightpen and @jjmusa2004
As for which one should be first and which one should be second. They were both great. One is a little more personal, the other a little more informative but both awesome! Unless anyone objects I'm going to award each 2.5HBD instead of having to choose which is better.
For the rest of you @rare-gem, @leemah1 and @jmis101 ... so glad to read your articles but I'll have to put them behind the first two. Probably because they were all shorter 🙂 But I still think they are all worth awarding something too. $1 HBD to the rest of the crew I think.
As always a thanks to @monica-ene for helping out trying to get people involved in the weekly discussion.
I really appreciate all the effort everyone
Congratulations to all the winners and thanks for reading
Congratulations to all the winners. Will love to participate in the next contest. Please how do I get notified.
Hmm... easiest way to watch the channel :)
Its not so busy that its hard to miss. The next contest is up and will be up for roughly a week. This weeks topic is "When Frugal is not enough" if you have anything to say about charity, government, church, or even neighbors helping others that's what I'll be judging. Of if you prefer read my post (as @terganftp) in the community and critique what I wrote about the CLAP program in Venezuela as well as the post it was based on (the link is in my post).
Look forward to hearing from you, the more the merrier!
Aside winning I have learnt alot from their blogs and exposed to new findings regarding this.
Congratulations guys it is well deserved. Thank you for sharing such quality knowledge with the community.
Thank you very much, I'm honoured and equally grateful. Congratulations to all winners and participants
Congratulations to everyone participated in the contest.
I read lightpen entry, it's a lot more personal and something to learn from.
It made me still believe there is hope, and I love how he was favoured after being scammed.
I couldn't read jjmusa write which I will be going back to read.
Thank you very much tergan for the reward.
I really appreciate.
Yes lightpen's was more personal while jjmusa wrote a more detailed one. In the end they were both great in their own way so I split the difference and declared it a tie for first.
I know I shouldn't change the rules .... but I haven't had complaints yet so I'll take little liberties here and there :)
