Esta llave para bombear el agua agua es cosa del pasado, per ¡como me gustaría tener una una el patio de mi casa, para cubrir el riego diario de todas las plantitas.
En las haciendas, donde hay pozos es alegría y cariño, porque estas bombeadoras resuelven las tareas diarias en la casa de la hacienda y también llenar los abrevaderos para los animales que se mueven en torno al hogar.
Ya oxidada por el paso de los años y el mucho servicio prestado, la llave de la fotografía sigue ahí, en el patio arbolado de la casa principal, recordando que el agua no llegaba por tubería.
Los campos de siembra dependían de la madre naturaleza y de la presencia de la lluvia, también del agua desviada de los ríos y por los riachuelos que pasaban por algunos de ellos.
El campesino sembraba según las estaciones, para poder sacar adelante sus cultivos y de todas maneras, la extensión del tiempo de sequía y la tardanza de las lluvias hacían estragos en las cosechas.
Los árboles frutales son una sabrosa y fructífera compensación en los campos venezolanos: mangos, aguacates, limones, jobos, lechosas, tamarindo, guayabas. Ellos abastecen la mesa, apoyan las meriendas y son el deleite de niños y jóvenes que practican en pequeños grupos la recolección del árbol a la boca.
Las frutas también permiten la creación de variados dulces, caratos y jugos. La jalea de mango es un dulce casero valorado y producido nacionalmente. Sabroso, ligero, rico en fibra es prácticamente apto a todos los paladares y bolsillos.
Las conservas de guayaba, cerecitas, lechosa y naranja son otros de mis dulces favoritos. Dulces sin ser empalagosos, vienen bien en cualquier ocasión.

This key to pump the water is a thing of the past, but how I would like to have one in the patio of my house, to cover the daily watering of all the little plants.
In the haciendas, where there are wells, it is joy and affection, because these pumpers solve the daily tasks in the hacienda house and also fill the troughs for the animals that move around the home .
Already rusted by the passing of the years and the much service rendered, the key in the photograph is still there, in the wooded patio of the main house, a reminder that the water did not come through a pipe.
The sowing fields depended on mother nature and the presence of rain, also on the water diverted from the rivers and by the streams that passed through some of them.
The farmer sowed according to the seasons, to be able to carry out his crops and in any case, the length of the dry season and the lateness of the rains wreaked havoc on the crops.
Fruit trees are a tasty and fruitful compensation in the Venezuelan fields: mangoes, avocados, lemons, jobos, milky, tamarind, guavas. They supply the table, support the snacks and are the delight of children and young people who practice in small groups collecting from the tree to the mouth.
Fruits also allow the creation of various sweets, cheapies and juices. Mango jelly is a nationally valued and produced homemade sweet. Tasty, light, rich in fiber, it is practically suitable for all palates and pockets.
Guava, cherry, milky (lechosa), and orange preserves are my other favorite sweets. Sweet without being cloying, they come in handy on any occasion.

Me hiciste recordar el delicioso manjar de mango.
Trajiste a mi memoria un dulce que hacia mi abuela allá en el campo a base de maíz, papelón y concha de naranja era una verdadera delicia.
