El espíritu de la navidad en mi casa comienza cada primero de diciembre, cuando empiezo a armar mi árbol de navidad, costumbre que he mantenido presente desde que soy madre, hace treinta y cinco años, tradición que se ha convertido en un símbolo de unión, amor, fe, esperanza, gratitud, de preparar mi corazón para recibir el nacimiento del niño Jesús y para vivir el mes de diciembre con la mejor actitud y con intención.

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. Every detail I place on my Christmas tree brings with it joy, magic, and memories that will last a lifetime. December is not only a beautiful month, it's a month where the best feelings come to the surface. This year, I decorated my Christmas tree with a large red bow at the top, representing my entire family united. Even though some are far from home, they are close in my heart. I also placed gold ornaments, symbolizing the gift of abundance we share, along with some red and gold flowers that symbolize our prosperity, generosity, and family love. Many lights illuminate our paths and fill them with hope. Every detail on my tree has meaning and intention. The Christmas tree is one of those symbols and customs we inherited from our ancestors, passed down from generation to generation. Every time we decorate a tree, we repeat an ancestral ritual, unknowingly honoring the lives of those who instilled this tradition in us and who are no longer with us.
