Diez años, cuando comenzó el amor.

Hace ya diez años atrás que mi historia de amor y sanación empezó, fue en septiembre de 2014 donde por primera vez nos vimos con mi marido, antes lo habíamos hecho mediante cámara pero en persona era totalmente distinto, los nervios estaban a flor de piel, necesitábamos comprobar que el sentimiento que había nacido a la distancia era real y fuerte, uno que pudiera superar la lejanía, uno que debía luchar y nutrirse de confianza mutua, no es sencillo amar a la distancia pero esta fue una prueba que vencimos.

En septiembre en Chile se festeja las fiestas patrias, esto es en los días 18 y 19 y justo hoy es 19 de septiembre pero diez años después de su inicio.

Recuerdo bien que en ese año el día 19 cayó un viernes, mi marido en ese entonces novio se puso en el rol de cocinero e hizo el asado para el almuerzo, como buen argentino la parrilla es algo que se la da bien y la verdad le quedo delicioso, desde ese entonces que los asados los prepara el y yo siempre estoy a su lado como la asistente de cocina la cual pica un pedacito a cada dos por tres.

Observar esta fotografía y ver como avanzo el tiempo, en cómo nos compenetramos y formamos nuestra familia me llena de emoción, sorteamos grandes dificultades a lo largo de estos años y de cada una hemos salido airosos, siempre juntos bien tomados de las manos como lo hicimos por primera vez, sin soltarnos y remando hacia adelante.

Ya son diez años juntos donde el amor crece y se fortalece, años donde hemos crecido, donde aprendimos juntos a ser padres, donde reímos y lloramos pero ante todo años donde nos apoyamos y amamos cada día y de forma aún más fuerte.

Ten years ago, when the love began.

It has been ten years ago that my story of love and healing began, it was in September 2014 where for the first time we saw each other with my husband, before we had done it through camera but in person was totally different, the nerves were at the surface, we needed to check that the feeling that was born at a distance was real and strong, one that could overcome the remoteness, one that had to fight and nurture mutual trust, it is not easy to love at a distance but this was a test that we overcame.

In September in Chile we celebrate the national holidays, this is on the 18th and 19th and just today is September 19th but ten years after its beginning.

I remember well that in that year the 19th fell on a Friday, my husband at that time boyfriend took on the role of cook and made the asado for lunch, as a good Argentinean the grill is something that he is good at and the truth is that it was delicious, since then he prepares the asados and I am always by his side as the kitchen assistant who bites a little piece every now and then.

Looking at this picture and seeing how time went by, how we got along and how we formed our family fills me with emotion, we have overcome great difficulties throughout these years and we have come out of each one with flying colors, always together holding hands as we did for the first time, without letting go and rowing forward.

It has been ten years together where love grows and strengthens, years where we have grown, where we learned together to be parents, where we laughed and cried but above all years where we support and love each other every day and in an even stronger way.
