Nia Jax's partner, Tiffany, caught the flu, but the show went on. Bayley and Naomi were set to tag-team against Jax and Tiffy. Jax just couldn't bail on the match. I love how the solution wasn't a cancelation. Nick Aldis the GM just threw in Candice LeRae as Jax's new partner.
Nia wasn't too pleased about that.
At the end, LeRae's buddy Indi Hartwell hopped in at just the right time to seal the deal for a heel win. I'm still sort of conflicted on it, as a win is a win, but it felt like Bayley was there to kill time, like she has done all she can with this narrative. It's time to move her along to something greater.
I think they are wasting her. I am a years-long fan, and this storyline is doing absolutely nothing for her.
Then there is Lash Legend.
She was up against Piper Niven, and for what it is worth, it wasn't bad. I didn't expect much, Lash was cool and showed dominance.
But what made it more interesting was Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair just sitting in the crowd watching. That's setting up a future tag match or even singles matches 'cause Lash has that star power. Also, Jakara Jackson stepping up to Chelsea Green when she tried to get in the way was some good stuff.
