There was a number 1 contenders match between Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Title. Damian Priest already warned Gunther that after his match at Crown Jewel he will be facing him for a rematch they never had.
However Damian was not waiting to be handed an opportunity, he told Gunther that he would earn it. Unfortunately bro lost the contenders match to Dominik Mysterio. You could probably guess how he lost, the judgement day got involved, distracted him and Dominik sneaked behind to pick up a victory.
That means Dominik Mysterio is the number 1 contender for Gunther's World heavyweight title after Crown Jewel.
One on one with Gunther, Dominik will be destroyed completely. But wasn't that the same case with Damian Priest and yet Dominik won? That means it's possible. Can you imagine the look of people's faces of Dominik becomes world heavyweight champion.
That'll be the funniest and most shocking moment in WWE history. To beat Gunther for the world heavyweight title will be a bragging rights for Dominik Mysterio forever.
Damian Priest is pissed off and he's going to get his revenge. I don't think Dominik will win anyways because although he has the judgement day support, Damian and Rhea can also come in and interfere and that could cost Dom the title.
