Also it is interesting to see what could have been main event matches in some then-WWF arenas be booked as main event matches at the ECW Arena. Assuming that the ECW pay for such a match would be much less than the same match at Madison Square Garden, the old Boston Gardens, Nassau Coliseum, or even the old Spectrum in Philadelphia - then it was interesting to see how the wrestlers altered their styles and/or willingness to do certain things due to the likely lower payoff for those matches. Alternatively, if ECW had no plans (or no budget) for follow-up matches, then the reliance on those names to draw crowds while building up the lower card talent could have led to how those main event matches played out.
