I had a full schedule as usual, but I felt like drawing something today. One of my goals this year is to practice drawing. I want to draw at least once a week if my schedule permits.
I just randomly sketched a face and ended up with this...
It turned out quite well... and it made me want to draw more in the coming days. Actually, I've been working on my goals this year and so far it's been going well. The drawing part was kind of behind the others, but I don't really want to pressure myself into doing so. I just want to draw for fun and not force myself to draw for my goal. I want to enjoy it!
Ohh... let me share some of the progress shots below. :)
I originally just wanted to do a pencil sketch, so I made it on my sketchbook. However, I kind of liked how she looked, so I decided to color it. Using the acrylic markers wouldn't work really well on the sketchbook I used, so I chose colored pencils instead.
I only used white acrylic paint for the highlights because my white pens have no effect. hahaha
Anyway, this made me happy, so I took a selfie... lol
Speaking of happiness, I'm enjoying my morning even more these days because of our furbabies, Arashi and Max... :)
Max has been with us just for two days... and it seems that he doesn't mind getting his photo taken. haha
He has a much bigger space now in this area of our house because we moved the tables and we placed our stationery bicycle in my room. (Which reminds me, I need to exercise before bed later. heeee~)
Arashi is camera-shy, so it makes me happy when I can take his photo well. Once he notices the camera, he immediately looks away.
We're still trying to let them get used to each other... they didn't bark as often at each other today as on the first day. They usually just stare at each other, but sometimes Max (9 months old) wants to play with Arashi (10 years old). When he tries to call Arashi, they'll soon start their duet again... with Max being a bass and Arashi a tenor. haha
Arashi also sometimes insists on going out... but we're still not that confident to let them have a close interaction. Maybe in the coming days, when they're both calmer. :)
Anyway, My last class dragged on for several minutes because my student and I were enjoying our chitchat about anime... so, I got a bit behind my intended schedule for this post... as well as my exercise.
So yeah, it's time for me to hit the imaginary road with this bicycle. haha I hope you all enjoyed my drawing today as much as I enjoyed making it.
This is quite a random post, but I hope you don't mind. Thanks for reading and see you around!
May you all have an awesome day... or night! (^^,)/
