That tree is huge! Picking cheries at a nearby orchard is one of my favorite things to do with all the kids when they are small, because the branches are low enough to the ground that they can pick buckets full of cherries without needing to climb on a ladder.

Oh wow....this is a small tree π ideal for the children indeed ! my neighbour's ones are old and huge, there are two giant cherry trees in the garden, that makes a lot of cherries for everyone, birds included π π
The pleasure is to eat them on the tree, isn't it ? Like for any fruits picking btw π π
The Montmorency cherries that are grown around here are very tart. They make the best cherry pies, but only when loaded up with lots of sugar! We had such late freezing temperatures that I am worried about our orchard crops this year. Cherries, and apple blossoms, too were damaged.
