First veggie my wife comes up with is Gramma Pumpkin as she loves making a bake dinner and Gramma Pumpkin is the much sweeter pumpkin of them all easier to cut up and i love her baked dinners. She also makes a great Gramma Soup and Gramma Pie.

Further down the vegetable isle i see the Ginger now Ginger not only adds flavor to foods it has lots of health benefits and i love a bit of cooked ginger with my baked dinners.

Gherkins i can't get enough of them i grow them in my vegetable garden every time they are in season i am out in the backyard picking them fresh of the vine and eating them like apples but i also love them in my salads and we also pickle them crunchy as and very healthy for you.

Garlic very versatile and used in every corner of the globe seems to go well with many dishes around the world and is very good for your heart and blood system apart from putting flavor into your foods.

Grapefruits another worldwide fruit it can be a sour to semi sweet fruit they come in a pink , yellow or deep red color it's a low calorie fruit great to include in your daily diet high in vitamins with lots of antioxidants i love my Grapefruit juice every morning before my run it gets the blood circulating very well.

Then of course we need some thing to sweeter our day up and what better then some sweet Grapes a fruit that i can never get enough of packed with nutrients eaten a little chilled is the way i like to eat then.

I was at the supermarket on Sunday with my wife doing our weekly fruit and veggie shopping when it occurred to me this would be the ideal place to to hunt down items for the @alphabethunt contest run by @barbara-orenya , have been in this huge supermarket before which is in Byron Bay N.S.W and have had success with hunting down letters in the past contests with other letters so this time it was my wife also who was going to join in on a bit of hunting letters with me so both on the hunt for letter "G" today let's go a bit of entertainment for both of us today 😊

I thought their name was Cucumber and now I read Gherkin. The German word would be Gurke 😉
I love pickled Garlic and sour Gherkins. Years ago there was a time when I loved Grapes, but that fluid stuff they made from them, preferrable in red 😉

People have always got to make things confusing how did they get from Cucumber to Gherkin but whatever i like them both especially pickled as yourself.

Ooh, the G's hold some wonderful foods! I do love some garlic and ginger, though that pumpkin looks so vibrant as well. I don't think I've ever heard of a Gramma Pumpkin before! Love it.
They certainly do @plantstoplanks don't we all love a bit of ginger and garlic flavoring in our foods. Gramma Pumpkin as they call it here in Australia has a sweeter taste a softer texture and really yummy with baked dinners 😊
