Hello everyone! The year 2025 is almost over, and my mind and soul are filled with nostalgia. It's inevitable to reflect on the happy moments, but also the sad ones; although I try not to think about what hurts me, it somehow always creeps into my mind... When I'm overwhelmed, I usually escape to places that bring me peace, often to the mountains, but generally I seek refuge in the church, especially during the times of day when I know it's empty. So, today's post will be dedicated to that beautiful temple in the center of Caracas called the Minor Basilica of Santa Capilla.

¡Hola a todos!. El año 2025 está pro acabar y mi mente y mi alma están llenas de nostalgia. Es inevitable repasar los momentos felices, pero también los momentos tristes; aunque trato de no pensar en lo que me hace daño, de una u otra manera se hace presente en mi mente... Cuando estoy abrumado generalmente escapo a lugares que me transmiten paz, muchas veces a la montaña, pero en general busco refugio en la iglesia, especialmente en horas del día donde sé que está sola, así que mi entrada de hoy será dedicada a ese hermoso templo en el centro de Caracas que se llama Basílica Menor Santa Capilla.

If you're someone who follows me, especially on Hive, you've probably heard me mention that this seems like the perfect place for my church wedding. I don't know if it's even possible; this parish is a bit unusual, and I'm not sure if they perform weddings, but I know I have to try. In fact, I'm surprised by how much time has passed since our civil wedding. It's not easy being an ordinary person in a country like this; the economy pushes us further away from our dreams every day, even with all our effort and discipline. But hey, I never give up, and when I dream something, I make it happen. It would be wonderful if this were the church where we get married, but ultimately, the important thing is that the ceremony happens, no matter where. I just know I'm the kind of man who wants to give his wife a beautiful and unforgettable wedding. Let's see what 2026 holds for us. 🙏

Si eres una persona que me sigue y realmente en Hive, seguramente en algún momento te habrás enterado que este me parece el lugar completo para casarme por la iglesia. No sé si eso sea posible, esta parroquia es extraña y no se si hacen matrimonios, pero sí sé que tengo que intentarlo, de hecho, me sorprende el tiempo que ha pasado desde nuestro boda civil; no es fácil ser una persona común en un país como este, al economía nos aleja cada día más de nuestros sueños, aunque pongamos mucho esfuerzo y disciplina, pero bueno, yo nunca me rindo, y cuando sueño algo lo hago realidad. Sería genial que este sea el templo de nuestra boda, pero al final, lo importante es que ocurra la ceremonia, no importa donde. Solo sé que soy el tipo de hombre que quiere regalarle una boda hermosa e inolvidable a su mujer. Veamos qué nos depara 2026 🙏
