RE: Phone Photography: Our Own Sinulog Here in Quezon City!

in Feel Good2 months ago

This is such a heartwarming account of your experience! It's wonderful to hear about your parish's Sinulog celebration, especially after so many years of restrictions.

I can only imagine how exciting it was to see the youth so enthusiastically participating. It's inspiring to witness the community coming together to celebrate their faith and culture.

You know, it's easy to forget that vibrant celebrations like Sinulog exist within our own communities. Living in Quezon City, we're often caught up in the hustle and bustle of the city and might not be aware of these cultural events happening closer to home.

It's a reminder that even in the heart of a busy metropolis, there are pockets of vibrant culture and community waiting to be discovered.

Thanks for sharing your experience! It's a great reminder to be more mindful of the cultural richness that exists within our own neighborhoods.

Hey there. Welcome to Hive! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on my post too. ❤️

I think many parishes in the Diocese of Cubao did this as well. I've seen videos from the Cubao Cathedral and St. Joseph Shrine too.

I am from Fairview QC, maybe I would have to pay attention to an events like this.

Oh I think that's under the Diocese of Novaliches. Yeah you can check the church near you for announcements (online or before mass ends) and such. 😁
