This post is a continuation from my previous post on Selangor Fruit Valley Part 1. Due to too many photos and content, I decided to separate the different stations we visited. Though I was not able to take all the photos I intended to take as I was trying my best to keep an eye on the boys, it still turn out to have quite a lot of photos that I need to filter through.
Our tram driver was a funny dude. He purposely drove the tram in such a way, meandering here and there like a snake to entertain the children all the way until we reached this deer park. So we had a great laugh.
All the children sat with me while the adults sat the other carriage this round.
Deer "Park" 🦌🦌🦌
Taman Rusa is literally translated as Deer Park from the Malay language which is the local language in my country, Malaysia.
Here, we could buy watermelon skin in packs selling for RM1 to feed these lovely and hungry deers, oh dear!
They are equally curious at us as we are at them 😅
We took turns to feed them. I went ahead to test the waters first.
Then I encouraged my youngest son to try. He was eager and excited to do it with my help.
My mum-in-law's turn.
I like this one which the tram guide said is a wild deer. Look at the spots. Doesnt it look like Bambi?
My sister-in-law said she want to help me and husband take a photo here with the "deer deer" because I call my husband dear dear hahahaha.
After 5 to 7 minutes here, we left and the driver took us to the next station.
Rabbit Farm🐇🐰🐇🐰
At this station, things got a bit messy and chaotic as we did not manage to spend much time here due to the 2 crowds before and after us. Besides rabbits, there were also different chickens from different countries on the other side. Nevertheless, here are some photos I managed to take in the chaos.
Look at these cuties! I love rabbits as they are really tame and non invasive.
The care keeper was kind enough to take out a small bunny for us and the children to pet. I did not have a photo of it because I was holding it and encouraging the children to try petting it. It was really soft to which my son exclaimed, "Mummy it is like a soft toy, awwww!" I thought we would have some time trying to feed them but we were evacuated due to the next crowd coming.
BUT LOOK WHAT WE FOUND! IS THIS SOMEBODY'S HOUSE? There was an abandoned playground here that looks like Spongebob's house doesn't it?
Duck Farm🦆🦆🦆🐤🐤🐤
The last animal farm was the duck farm. My youngest was more attracted to the toy rubber ducks compared to the real ducks hahhahaha. But we did go near the real ducks. They were happily quacking. They were funny because they were coming nearer to us when suddenly they realized we are humans, then they waddled away quacking. 😁🤣
A statue duck before the real ducks.
Now the real ducks are swimming in their pond. Black and white, all quacking. My youngest son said the big ones are the mother ducks.
Some ducks went to get shelter under the shade. Smart ducks! If I were them, I would do that too! The sun in Malaysia is no joke!
The children had a blast with the animals I think. My eldest kept telling me his favorite part of the trip was at the rabbit farm. I did wish we could stay on a little longer with the rabbits but we were there in between two groups of preschool children. So when the second batch came, they came like a "wave" and just came right into the farm without waiting for us to get out first. Hence we went out to give room to them instead.
Will be continuing on a bit more on the next post about some plantations we saw along our way on the tractor/tram ride. Stay tuned for my next post tomorrow! Thank you so much for following me in this tour and reading about it.
