Season Hunt Challenge Week 7 - The German Corner

The photos below were taken in Deutsches Eck, literally meaning German Corner, located in Koblenz, Germany. It is a triangular headland or platform between two rivers, the Mosel and the Rhein (some spell it Rhine), where they meet at the point or tip of the triangle. The trees are part of the walk along the river Rhein. It's basically just a park. Before the pandemic, people could take ferry rides along the river and ride cable cars going to the mountain across the river.

My daughter and a friend visited this lovely place early this year in what was to be her first experience of winter.

In the photo below, one can see the river Rhein at the right hand side. Not much people around as this was taken when Germany and most of Europe were on lockdown and the vaccine was not yet available. It definitely will be a different scene next month when more people and tourists will be out to enjoy this wonderful place.

For those interested I am sharing with you a photo I found in Google which can more or less give an idea of where exactly this German Corner is situated relative to the two rivers.
