Today being 25 Decenber, 2021 is Christmas where all Christian's all over the world celebrate the birth of Jesus the Christ a Jew and the saviour of mankind.
It is a remarkable day within the christiandom.
Purchase is on the increase for the merryment as such there is hike in prices of foodstuffs ranging from vegetables to livestock is use for the celebration.
In Africa a lot of activities take place in form of traditional dances, masquerades , families coming from far and wide just to Grace the Yuletide.
There no doubt that prices of items goes up as buying is activated thereby forcing the prices of things high
It really can be a time of joy... and also stress can't it!?
I think that Africa has special challenges especially when consumption will be higher than it usually is (like during Christmas).
You not only have inflation at work you will likely have scarcity at work as well. More demand is going to naturally effect price!
I hope that your African Christmas was spent with loved ones and that the prices of the festivities were manageable!
