Little Updates

in Feel Good3 months ago

Hi, there. It's been a while. This is just a short and simple blog about the good things and warmhearted blessings I have received this year 2024.

"He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. He who has ears to hear, let him hear..."

But this is a blog so...just use your eyes, guys and read. 🤣

As you all know and read from my previous blogposts, you can see how dysfunctional my family is; how my hatred towards my father resulted to a 1 year and a half ignoring-each-other-farce; and how my mental health resulted to suicide.. or at least intrusive thoughts and stuff or any other shits like that.

But let me share to you the things that turned my 2024 a fruitful and blessed one:

  1. My dad and I reconciled at the day of his birthday, 3rd of January 2024. (You can't imagine how suffocating it was to ignore each other under one roof for 1 and a half year straight. Also, hatred is exhausting. For me, it really tires me out.)

  2. I finally landed on a job from a national government office. (I have sent countless resumes just to be accepted in a government institution. Lost hope a couple of times, but still went ahead and sent another batch of resumes again.)

  3. I got a small part-time job from @hiddenblade and I am ever so thankful for that opportunity. (It gave me extra money in the months when I had nothing in my wallet to pay for my transpo, food, my basic necessties, and of course, my debts. I just hope my client would still continue to be my client.)

And that's pretty much it. My biggest blessing for this year is seeing my dad smile, hugging and kissing him again.

I'm so glad that you and your dad got to reconcile, I know it must have left you feeling so refreshed, one year and six months is such a long time.

Thank you so much for those words. It truly feels refreshing to let go and release that much hate after many months. But human as we are, we both still have some faults here and there. At least now we learn to forgive. :)

Yeah, faults and all, thank goodness everything worked out well

Awesome life updates. That client is a long term one and also could give you other opportunities as well so as long as you have a kind attitude I don't think they're gonna go away haha. These people always value attitude more than anything else (sometimes even more than work ethic as long as they see you're working on getting better) so yeah, just treat them the way you want to be treated and I think you'll be fine. :D

Thanks for the advise @hiddenblade! Totally appreciate it. I'll take note of this! And you're right, "Treat them the way you want to be treated." :)
