When it come to picking a favourite ruleset or a ruleset I can win with my eyes closed it will surely be the Noxious fumes ruleset which is one of the tough ruleset out there due to the -2 damage dealt to all unit health at the end of each round, that is terrible since as a player we always want our card health intact, back then while playing in the wild format, any time I come across noxious fumes, I always lose the battle until I told myself enough is enough and had to figure out what I'm doing wrong, most times I do make use of weak cards which get destroyed within 2-3 rounds while my opponent always come in with healing cards and also good health cards, most make use of gelatinous cube back then then later pair it the last stand ability which increase it health greatly till it enter the Fatigue mode and give them the wins they want. Later on the team introduce kron the undying which became really powerful especially if the last stand got activated.

Right now, playing Noxious Fumes is quite easy since we now have abilities which are immune to the debuff and in each element, we have a card with at least an immune ability and my favourite now is the Quora Towershead which is a gladiator cards and that gave it a +1, I had to find a way to push it to level 4 just for it to gain the immune ability, having it heal, gain gladiator then immune make it amazing but somehow I do wish it can have the last stand ability paired with it just to see how powerful it will be. I had this battle today and it is one of the amazing battle I had this week, we had 43 mana capped with 2 ruleset, Aimless which give all cards the scattershot ability and Noxious Fumes with the poison debuff and to sum it all, we only have the dragon and earth element available to use and seeing the ruleset we had, I had to go all in with my dragon conscript summoner paired with earth which will give me the chance to make use of a gladiator card (my best option)

I had to pick Pelacor Mercenary just because of the heal ability and it is maxed then placed fungus flinger with the martyr ability while placing Quora towershead in between before adding another martyr card Venari Marksrat with the hope that both will make Quora stronger after getting destroyed and lastly was Chaos Dragon which took the remaining mana. My opponent knew the drill when it come to noxious fume but he didn't qualify when it come to the power of having level cards, which was the main discussion during the previous week engagement challenge so that really weaken his setup against my own formation but somehow he use Quora towershead but didn't think of making it stronger using a martyr card, that made me weaken his formation easily, It was easy to win but with a lot of lesson passed across. As a player, using weaker cards in battle will really put you at a disadvantage against your opponent, we should strive to level up our cards that give us stronger stand in battle, also when playing noxious fume battle don't forget to use immune cards with other ability that can make your cards stronger.
