How hard do you need to work to be successful?

We all want to be successful and relevant, no matter how we are. Billionaires and millionaires around the world put on quality work, and we study their lives to learn from them. Sometimes we copy them to have results like them.

Since I started working, I believe I have been working hard. I worked for a couple of companies around this side of the world and I had excellent results as the best staff of all time.

Not everyone will be a founder or company CEO. So being successful is based on satisfaction, contentment and fulfilment. Most motivational speakers suggest everyone start their business, but leadership is not for everyone. Some people are built followers and they have the mind of the following and if they try to lead, they will fail.

All we need is just to work hard and be smart. But working hard is not the same for everyone. I have seen people that put little effort into their work but have massive success and I have seen people working very hard with no result. Is destiny part of the thing here? Are some people destined to be limited irrespective of all much they work?

I have said it before and I am saying it again. No matter how we try to hide it, there is always an atom of luck in every success story. A billionaire said success is 98% hard work and 2% of planning. Well, I think there is a percentage in the 2 or the 98 that is different for all successful people. It is smart to follow a billionaire, but it is better to follow billionaires, check the common things they do and do them. There is always luck in a success story, so the successful person you are following might just get lucky at some point and you may not be as lucky as them.

Decisions are the keys to success. Every bit of a decision you make determines what comes your way. Therefore, you must pay attention to the results of your decisions. Your decisions affect your health, finance, and life. You don’t want to be a liability for yourself. You must curate your thoughts and decisions.

One of my friends lost money in the recent scam system on my side of the world. He told me he only invested a little money, but he invested huge thousands of dollars. He called me recently and explained all to me. I was bitter because he would probably not be a victim if he seek my advice before investing.

Warren Buffett said the first key to be successful is never to lose money, the second is not to forget the first rule. Currently, this young man is starting life again because of the loss. Working hard is also about making the right decisions because you can even lose everything you worked for many years within a second.

There is no meter to gauge the amount of work you have to do to be successful. In fact, sometimes when you work too hard, you will only strike your health. You just have to check your life, examine everything, seek advice, read books, and follow successful people, not a person. Do more things that work. Live a life of gratitude and pray if you believe in God.

Success is also a state of mind. Define what is enough so that you will know when to rest.
