The one written in books, the opinions of historians, political analysts, news reports from that time, or the one untold/told by our family members and passed on as stories through generations? I will probably opt for the second, as that is how our epics were told and passed on.
Dada when we were in schools, we saw how the history of war gets changed as the government changes... so we rely on the stories provided by our family members and relatives because books may change what it's written but the memories that our older generations possess do not get tampered with.
Deepu bhai first she lost the one she loved, second time she lost the one who gave her strength to live. I wonder how she lived her life till she found her way to the pedestal. Even though she went insane, I believe she was aware that she lost everyone she loved but didn't want to believe it, or maybe she believed she was with them.
Birth of a nation is a little debatable which shouldn't be. As you have said a child gets conceived and then given birth to after 9 months, but people celebrate birthday of a child when he/she gets delivered. Even though I agree with the birth of our nation being 26th March but comparing it to a childbirth isn't what I have in mind. Chihiro.
A loss is a loss, it's unbearable no matter how the world sees it. They say a mother losing her child is far more terrible than a child losing his mother but is it? In one hand, Rakib's family died believing that he's safe and he'll save everyone and on the other side Rakib lost everyone. Twilight.
Did Narendra wrote a book about poltutantra? No I don't think he would. Red bull doesn't give you wings and poltu knew that... and no matter what Narendra says, he too beat up poltu for speaking out freely. Freedom within the boundaries? (I have yet to invent a nickname for you)
No he didn’t! Paltu wrote a book to attack Dasantra because he was wise enough to attack Narendra with his knowledge.
Freedom Within the Boundaries Paltu opposed it. For which he was beaten and expelled from Dasantra And to avenge that, he published a book. Now there is a clash between the two Tantra in চাখামু town;)
Yeah, it is. But no son would also want to lose his mother. All these are emotions, we can't decide one over the other!
they are both painful and you're right, we can't choose one over the other
Yes, it is painful. The story here might be symbolic, but this is the fact. This is what happened in 1971. And besides the outside troops, our own people did the main damage. That’s what is the matter of regret.
Bhaia story could be symbolic but there are many people who have lost everything. Maybe there are multiple 75 to 90 years old women out there who's will to live have been snatched away but still living because it's not the time to be reunited with the family... you're also right that our own people had did a lot of damage... my mom was telling me a few stories which I was thinking of making a post about.. although still unsure if I should
Totally agree with you. I do request you to write about our history which you have learned from your mother. This is the only thing of our nation for which we can feel proud. And we are the generation who should lift it up.
it will be very unpatriotic if I write about it... although it was very true... it's sort of a story how brutal we were as well
I have the trust. You can’t be unpatriotic:-)
